It snowed today. Caleb was ecstatic. It made me nervous for the winter. We’ve been through one winter without Keith, but I’m not looking forward to this one.
I snuck into her room to get a photo of her sleeping. I had to turn a small light on to get enough light to take her photo and as I’m about to take the picture, her eyes open. There is something so special about this girl.
There’s something really comforting about looking in the rear view mirror and seeing these two faces. When we are in the car together, I feel like our world is insulated a bit. My favorite part of car rides is when they are singing or chatting together. Caleb is constantly making Libby laugh.

Red came for a sleepover. A couple months ago we relocated back near family, which means when my mom is traveling, her wonderful golden retriever Red gets to sleep over.
